Day 01: BOGOTA
Reception and transfer from El Dorado International Airport to the hotel. Accommodation.
Day 02: BOGOTA
Morning visit to the city including the places of major interest, starting with the Plaza de Bolívar, where are the most emblematic buildings of the country: the Cathedral, the Courthouse, the Bogota city hall, the Casa de Nariño (home of the President of Republic) and the National Capitol. Then visit to the Museum of Gold, famous for its unique collection of over 30,000 pieces of pre-Columbian gold. Continuation on foot through the beautiful streets of 'La Candelaria', a neighborhood that maintains the colonial period's architecture, until arrival at Quinta de Bolívar, place where lived the liberator Simón Bolívar. Free afternoon. Accommodation.
Day 03: BOGOTA - CARTAGENA
Transfer to the airport and flight to the city of Cartagena (flight not included). Arrival in Cartagena, reception and transfer from the international airport to the chosen hotel. Accommodation.
Day 04: CARTAGENA
Free morning. Afternoon visit to Cartagena including the old town's main monuments, San Felipe Castle, Cerro de la Popa, the city's highest point, where from one can admire the best view of Cartagena, and the residential areas of Boca Grande and Castillo Grande. Accommodation.
Day 05: CARTAGENA
Morning transfer to the pier and boat trip bound for the Islas del Rosario, in the southern Bay of Cartagena. These islands are considered a national park, with a complex coral reef that boasts a variety of fauna of the reef. We enjoy a day at the beach in the crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean, with a rare Cartagena lunch and opportunity for swimming and snorkeling. Late afternoon return to Cartagena.
Day 06: CARTAGENA
Free day for personal activities.
Day 07: CARTAGENA
Transfer to the airport at indicated time. |
