Day 02 (Tue): GUATEMALA CITY - ANTIGUA
Morning departure to Antigua Guatemala, the most charming colonial city of Guatemala. Founded by the Spanish in 1543, today Antigua is a beautiful combination of ruins, restored colonial buildings and new buildings in colonial style. It was declared a 'Monument of America' in 1965. Visit to the Central Plaza, which is surrounded by the old cathedral, city hall and Palacio de los Capitanes Generales, colonial churches and monasteries and a jade factory, where the work is on to produce fine and beautiful jewelry. Day 03 (Wed): ANTIGUA - LAGO DE ATITLÁN

Day 05 (Fri): QUETZALTENANGO - SAN ANDRÉS XECUL - SAN FRANCISCO EL ALTO - HUEHUETENANGO
Visit to the Almolonga market, known for its variety of vegetables and fruits grown on small plots and that are exported to Central America and Mexico. Continuation to San Andrés Xecul, which is an important temple of the late sixteenth century. Then visit to San Francisco El Alto. Day 07 (Sun): CHICHICASTENANGO - GUATEMALA CITY
Market day in Chichicastenango. Visit the largest and most colorful indigenous outdoor market in Guatemala. One can also admire the religious cerimonies going on inside and outside the Santo Tomás Church, which is more than 400 years old. Afternoon transfer to Guatemala City. Accommodation.
